Mid Level Animators, U/I Artists, Environmental Artists, Programmers NEEDED!

    ANIMATORS:

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Character Modeling and Rigging in 3DS Studio Max and Maya
    • Must be able to upload & test assets in engine
    • Expertise in Photoshop and familiar with other common 2D and 3D tools
    • Model and texture from photos and concept art
    • Solid understanding of weight, scale, and proportion
    • Collaborate daily within the team to keep up to date on aesthetic and technical standards for character art on the project
    • Creative persona with a positive attitude
    • Able to focus, work efficiently and manage one’s own time in order to meet milestones

    Requirements:

    • 3+ years experience or at least two credited title creating high-quality characters for console games that fit within the defined visual style of a game universe.
    • Mastery of Max, prefer working knowledge of Maya as well
    • Ability to create art assets in a variety of styles from realistic to fantasy
    • Self-driven, good communicator and team player
    • Must have a passion for games and game development
    • Ability to learn new skills and pass those skills onto others

    Portfolio Requirements:

    • Applicants must deliver a full resume with a portfolio and/or demo reel to be considered for this position.
    • Applicants must be able to show their legal right to work in the United States.
    • Internships and part-time positions are not available at this time.

    Education Requirements

    Candidate needs formal education to rise to the level of a mid/senior animator. BA or technical training of a recognized school preferred.

    Successful candidates will possess a passion for animation and a strong interest in gaming, as well as the ability to portray convincing motion of a wide variety of subjects.




    3D Artist:
    Responsibilities:
    - Work on a variety of projects producing fully realized 3D assets
    - Handle multiple tasks and perform a variety of art related assignments on tight deadlines
    - Possess an understanding of integration of art assets with game development
    Requirements:
    - Minimum of 2 years experience and/or at least one shipped console title
    - Experience using 3D Studio Max or Maya
    - Able to render high quality textures using Adobe Photoshop
    Pluses:
    - Wii and DS experience
    - Strong traditional art background
    - Excellent intrapersonal skills





    Junior Programmer
    Responsibilities:
    - Understand and be able to conform to the platform standards set up by console manufacturers
    - Work with team leads to determine coding tasks and schedule requirements
    - Collaborate with team on various aspects of game and be able to communicate effectively with less technically-oriented team members
    Requirements:
    - Versed in C/C++ cross-platform development
    - Able to focus and to manage one's own time in order to meet milestones
    - Works quickly and efficiently within short development cycles and strict deadlines
    Pluses:
    - Computer Science degree or equivalent games industry experience
    - Experience with Unreal 3.0 and/or Vicious engines
    - Solid understanding of Action Script

    U/I Artist
    Responsibilities:
    - Work with design and programming to develop innovative UI assets
    - Able to create a broad range of art assets from realistic to fantasy
    - Expand upon existing 2D assets
    Requirements:
    - Minimum of 2 years experience and/or at least one shipped console title
    - Mastery of Photoshop or Painter
    - Knowledge of Flash animation and effects
    Pluses:
    - Wii and DS experience
    - Solid familiarity with 3D software packages (Maya, 3DSMax)
    - Understanding of Action Script
