how long does it take to get approved?

I forgot that this place even existed until I just read about it on another forum. I checked and I submitted my application in May 2008 and I haven't heard anything! I don't expect to at this point.

I have also no idea if I know anyone who has an account here, its not something that one talks about it seems. Rule number 1, you don't talk about the chaos engine?

 

It seems a bit difficult to enter this forum without someone already in the place.

i believe my submission has been past a year, but i reapplied about two weeks ago thinking it was some kind of error. Still waiting.

Hahah saw a few names that have made it so i'll reiterate, if you know someone on here already get them to pm photon or prof.... aqll the pm has to say is:

i can vouch for "CHAOSENEGINE USERNAME" he sits opposite me at "COMPANY NAME" or someit.

 

So i vouched for someone from this thread yesterday as my good deed for the day .. they were approved today.

If you have people who say they have vouched for you then they are not doing it right.

I don't knowingly know anyone inside the Chaos Engine and from reading I have a strong suspicion that the gatekeeper email address goes to /dev/null.

Being in a small indy, it doesn't give me a wealth of contacts to get me in to whatever sordid orgy of words that lies on the other side. That said I do know individuals in Lionhead Studios, Kuju and Climax (haven't spoken to him for a long time).

If you are in Lionhead or Kuju, perhaps you could PM me, I'll tell you who I know. Hopefully they can vouch for me by proxy.
