3 mo? 4 mo? Amateurs! I've been in limbo for 10 mo. or so.

FWIW though, I think that falls outside the normal time to wait and enters the 'Hey look, another application from the company that pissed in the coffee at GDC 2005...AHAHAHAHAHAHA, DENIED!" timing category.

 

You had to apply for membership? They begged me to join. Hadn't even heard of the place. Hell, I'm not even a game developer.

Bored of waiting, think six weeks waiting for someone to hit a button or add me to a list of text is rubbish. Meh. Don't accept applications if you're not accepting applications. Pretty fucking simple.

 

I've played his games, and I can attest to this. Found him on a janitor forum. High post count. All about mops and mopping technique. Needed someone to clean up all the unicorn poo. Lotsa unicorns in here, I tell you what.

i was cleaning my inbox and found the application email, forgot about it after waiting for a month.

now it's 6 months since i sent my application, i don't know, if this period is usual, but i understood it as a decline.

I don't think that’s a very appropriate thing to say, we don't want to give new members the wrong idea..All funding to TCE is entirely voluntary and in no way provides any benefits or special favours beyond the normal rapid promotion and sex with booth babes you'd expect from membership of any trade forum.
