An incredibly sad tragedy.

Obviously I spoke with Colin a few times and was shattered by what happened then.

Our industry represents what happens in motorsport in such a casual way. Henry was just 18, he was massively talented, he had the whole world in front of him and a loose wheel kills him.

There is a video of what happened: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. It makes me sick.

That is indeed very sad. What are the chances eh?

Yes sad, but these things do happen, Motor sport is dangerous.

And now Felipe, two similar million to one chances in a week.

Felipe's 8860 helmet from Schuberth did an amazing job, as did the HANS device. Only a few years ago that would certainly have been fatal.

Best wishes to Felipe and his family and hope he makes a complete recovery to win the WDC next year. :)

Henry funeral today: To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 10 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

How ironic that his father drove in the most dangerous of times and survived a long career (12 years), becoming world champion. Whilst many around him died.

Then Henry, driving in the safest of times, dies right at the beginning of his career.

So sad.
